Cue the long summer days in 40 degree heat! I'm 36 weeks and like every pregnant woman in Melbourne, this heat is pure torture! Feeling extra hot is certainly not the fun part of pregnancy. My belly has grown so much over the last month, I’m really struggling to find something appropriate and cooling to wear in the heat. At this stage I’m living in my Swing Jersey Top and shorts the whole week. Both are made from a cotton blend fabric and are proving to be an essential for my summer wardrobe.
With my beautiful baby joining us anytime now, I'm frantically running around with last minute shopping for the nursery and tying loose ends at work, before I go on maternity leave. Am I feeling a little stressed? You might say so.
Amongst all the paperwork and credit card swipes, my sweet husband suggested a date night - a movie and dinner. A reminder to enjoy one of our last quite moments together, before the baby arrives.
