Everything seems to happen at the same time; it’s been a busy last couple of weeks! With the festive season around the corner, I’ve managed to squeeze in an overseas work trip and even moved into my new house. With my little belly now popping out, I’ve found that certain styles and cuts I usually wear have been uncomfortable. Funny really, I prefer snugger fits than the loose, billowy styles which I favoured early on. At 27 weeks I’ve been feeling the need to enjoy every moment before my baby arrives but that’s pretty much impossible, if you're feeling uncomfortable!
My picks for fashionable comfort; the Flora Skinny Capri Pants and the Lara Maxi Dress.
A working trip to China and Hong Kong couldn’t have happened at a better time. Travelling in pretty much my last trimester was surely an experience! Flying is always a little uncomfortable, let alone when you are pregnant. Funnily enough the first thing that came across my mind was “What am I going to wear on the plane?” My choice; the Flora Skinny Capri Pants. Its thick waistband covered my entire belly providing the support and comfort I needed for a 10 hour flight. I’ve now dubbed the capris my go-to pants. With the lightweight, no iron fabric I could literally wear them everyday, without anyone noticing. The perfect choice indeed!
After a busy trip, catching up with my girl friend on the weekend was what I needed. The French festival at Como house in Melbourne was the perfect location. It was such a lovely day sitting under the sun and enjoying afternoon tea. The Lara maxi dress is a must have dress which you can style up or down. I loved this outfit! I paired it with a cropped denim jacket and my new hat for the stylish weekend look.
